Vivian Chang (London and Taipei) co-founded SABR Partners in 2017 and serves as a Senior Partner.  She is mostly responsible for geopolitical risk and defence advisory and SABR’s charitable initiatives.  Vivian also serves as the Chairwoman of the Asia-focused space technology firm, Atomica Co, and as a Board Director at the British luxury brand Baudoin & Lange. 

 

Prior to SABR, Vivian worked at the London-based private equity firm, Athel Partners, as an investment professional, covering infrastructure and technology sectors.  Prior to that Vivian also served as an EMEA investor relations manager for a Hong Kong-based hedge fund, Broadshine Asset Management. 

 

Vivian holds an executive MSc in International Strategy and Diplomacy from the London School of Economics, an MSc in Management from UCL, and a BA in Politics and International Relations from National Taiwan University. Vivian also attended Jolegi Universum – Center of Diplomacy at Kosovo for Peace Building in Post-Conflict Areas and Geoffrey Nice Foundation of Law, History, Politics and Society in the Context of Mass Atrocities for International Human Rights Law on Genocide, in collaboration with the Honourable Society of Inner Temple.

 

Vivian attended the JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp.) at Sararota Military Academy in the US.  She is also a Researcher at the UK advocacy organization SecurityWomen with an area of focus on women military officer welfare and training.  Vivian speaks English, Mandarin, and German Fluently.
