Lei Li (London) co-founded SABR Partners in 2017 and serves as its Managing Partner. He is actively involved in managing the firm across investment, development, advisory and charitable initiatives. Lei currently serves as a Senior Director at the Asia-focused space technology firm, Atomika Co, and as the Executive Chairman at the European intelligent consumer technology firm, Initta Technology Partners. He also serves on the boards of Baudoin & Lange and Aulink Realty as well as a number of SABR portfolio companies.
Prior to SABR, Lei worked as an investment professional at hedge funds and private equity, including Man Group with its global event-driven fund in London, and Balyasny Asset Management, where he covered European equity long/short and global macro opportunities. Prior to that, he worked at P. Schoenfeld Asset Management with its special situation group and The Carlyle Group’s distressed opportunities group in London.
Lei holds an MSc in Management from London Business School and a BSc in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics. He completed his executive programmes at the University of Oxford and Harvard Business School. Lei was elected as a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts.
